The right way to clean a hardwood floor
Always use the right materials to clean your hardwood floor. Many available products, including Murphy’s Oil, leave residues that inhibit recoating. Wax finishes are also problematic.

Whenever possible, use the manufacturer’s recommended cleaner, or refer to Bonakemi, the leader in hardwood floor care products. Vinegar and water and various commercial wood floor cleaners are also good (please see maintenance). Contact us for more information.
